Hiring: Warehouse Operative / Van Driver

We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our growing team in Aberdeen.

About the job:

In this role, you will oversee delivery and warehouse operations, providing invaluable coordination and support. With extensive training opportunities available, including printer inspection and configuration, you’ll have the chance to expand your skill set and expertise. Additionally, this role offers the exciting prospect of travel across Scotland and wider UK. The ideal candidate will possess a full, clean driver’s license and demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills.

Key duties:

  • Efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control
  • Unpacking, building, configuring, and inspecting printers prior to delivery (full training will be provided)
  • Safe packing, loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
  • Delivering equipment orders to customer sites throughout Scotland and occasionally UK-wide
  • Review deliveries with customers to ensure accuracy and receive delivery confirmation
  • General stock control
  • Ensure the warehouse is in order and kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls
  • Stock counting and location checks.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities

Key skills required:

  • Use of pallet stacker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning, organisational and timekeeping skills
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Proficient in administration and paperwork
  • Friendly and professional demeanour
  • Full, clean, UK driving license
  • Minimum five years driving experience

Working Hours

  • 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional overtime opportunities available
