With 50 personnel and 5 meeting rooms within the new 6,049 sq. ft office space at Blenheim House, Aberdein Considine faced difficulties in booking meeting rooms ad hoc, leading to a surge in internal complaints and struggles. The challenge was further amplified by instances of individuals not showing up for their reserved meetings.
Background.
Aberdein Considine, a leading legal and wealth management firm, relocated its main office to Blenheim House in the West End of Aberdeen in January 2024. The transition marked a significant change in their workspace dynamics, creating obstacles in managing meeting room bookings and availability. As a technology solutions provider, Carbon delivered a new system streamlining the meeting room management system with a sleek touch screen installation. Our Solution.
Carbon installed five Meeting Room Touch Screens with LED frames throughout the office. The new system allowed users to seamlessly book meeting rooms, allocate resources, and request catering through a user-friendly interface. The solution integrates fully with Outlook, a platform familiar to all Aberdein Considine users. Further, the new system ensured that if an appointment was rescheduled to the next day, all associated resources followed suit, with the screens updating automatically, leading to a sleek management of meeting room availability at all times.
